Explore the city that boasts more American history than any other place in the world: Philadelphia! Cobblestones and Colonial architecture line streets throughout the Historic District, where buildings dating back to our nation's early years show the story of the country's heritage. Visit Independence Park where the Liberty Bell resides and also where the founding fathers debated and adopted the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution in Independence Hall.
Winged Victory groups visit historical places such as the Betsy Ross House, Franklin Court and Elfreth's Alley (the oldest continuously residential street in America); climb the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art (where the famous scene from the movie "Rocky" was filmed!); and visit the waterfront Seaport Museum. Evening activities may include dinner at the Hard Rock Café, dinner and games at Dave and Buster's restaurant, and the extraordinary "Lights of Liberty" show, where you will experience the American Revolution, as it happened, where it happened - through state-of-the-art technology. The story is told through beautiful hand painted images that are projected up to 50 feet high onto the buildings where the events actually took place over 200 years ago.
Winged Victory USA operates carefully crafted General Educational field trips to Philadelphia that make the most of every minute your students spend in the city.
